The bunny is a head-only character. Its ears connect directly into the head, so there is no separate ear-to-head seam to sew. The strawberry and accessories are made individually and assembled afterward.

Materials
- Worsted-weight cream yarn for the bunny.
- Blue yarn for the headphones and bow.
- Pink yarn for the strawberry and bow dots.

- A suitable crochet hook.
- Fiberfill stuffing.
- Scissors, a yarn needle, and a stitch marker.

The tutorial does not specify a hook size. Choose one that produces close stitches without making the small pieces uncomfortable to work.
Keep the yarn thickness similar across the main components. Using a much thicker yarn for the strawberry can change the balance of the finished charm.

Add filling before closing the opening. Keep the strawberry gently rounded, with the starting end retaining its tapered shape.
Fasten off, leaving a tail to draw the remaining opening closed and secure it.
Optional small embroidered seed stitches can add detail. Avoid pulling them so tightly that they dent the surface.
Part 2: Strawberry Leaves
Use green yarn.
Round 1: Work 10 sc into a MR.
For each leaf:
- Ch 4.
- Starting in the second chain from the hook, work sl st, sc, hdc along the chain.
- Skip one stitch on the circular base.
- Sl st into the next base stitch.
Repeat five times to create five leaves.
Fasten off with a sewing tail. Secure the center and attach the leaves over the strawberry’s closed upper opening.
Part 3: Bunny Ears
Make two, using cream yarn.

After completing the second ear, keep the working yarn attached. Ch 1 and connect to the first ear as demonstrated in the video.

Part 4: Head Continuing from the Ears
Continue with cream yarn.
Round 7: Work 9 sc around the first ear, 1 sc into the joining chain, 9 sc around the second ear, and 1 sc into the opposite side of the joining chain. (20)

Embroider the Face
Use black yarn to make two small vertical eyes and an X-shaped mouth.
Plan the face while viewing the head straight on. The space between the ears provides a useful center reference.
Keep the embroidery tension gentle so the eyes and mouth lie against the fabric without pulling the cheeks inward.
Part 5: Blue Headphones
Earpieces
Make two, using blue yarn.

Headphone Band
Ch 22.
Starting in the second chain from the hook, work 21 sc.
Fasten off, leaving tails for assembly. Attach one earpiece to each end, then position the band around the bunny’s head.
The tutorial includes optional wire for shaping the band. A yarn-only version will be softer. If using wire, fully enclose its ends and keep them away from the attachment seams.
Check both earpieces before securing the headphones. They should sit at similar heights without covering the face.
Part 6: Polka-Dot Bow
Use blue yarn.
Row 1: Ch 35. Starting in the second chain from the hook, work 34 sc. Ch 1 and turn.
Rows 2–4: Work 34 sc across. Ch 1 and turn after Rows 2 and 3.
Fasten off and weave in the ends.
Tie the strip into a bow. Add pink French knots across the blue fabric for the dots.
Keep the knots small enough to suit the bow. Test one on a spare crochet piece if you are unfamiliar with the technique.
Make the Hanging Cord
Choose pink, blue, or a combination of the two.
For a simple version, crochet a chain to your preferred length. For the two-color version, follow the method demonstrated in the video rather than treating it as an ordinary color change.
Test the arrangement against your bag before finishing. Leave enough space for the bunny and strawberry to hang at different heights, with neither piece completely hidden behind the other.
A long cord can look attractive in a photograph but may catch on nearby items during everyday use. Adjust its length to the bag and where you plan to attach it.
Assemble the Charm
Finish the strawberry leaves, bunny face, headphones, and bow before joining everything to the cord.
Lay the components out first. Position the bow near the upper connection and stagger the two hanging pieces below it.
Attach the cord to the crochet fabric with secure stitches. Do not rely only on a loose surface strand, the headphone band, or the strawberry leaves to carry a component’s weight.
If using a clasp or key ring, check that the cord fits through it without crowding the closure. Hide the yarn tails, then gently test each connection.

Troubleshooting the Small Details
The ears twist at the join: Check the orientation before completing the head’s first round. Stuffing will not correct a twisted connection.
The face looks off-center: Compare it with both ears and the head’s outline before securing the embroidery ends.
The headphones cover the eyes: Reposition the band and earpieces while the attachments are still temporary.
The pieces overlap too much: Adjust their hanging heights rather than making the whole cord longer.
The strawberry looks too round: Check the filling and the tapered starting section. Overfilling can soften its pointed outline.
Choose a Coordinated Palette
The pictured cream, pale blue, and pink combination creates a gentle pastel look. Sage headphones with a dusty-rose strawberry offer another soft palette, while a red strawberry gives stronger contrast.
Repeat one color in the bow and headphones to connect the design visually. You can also use the bunny and strawberry separately if you prefer a simpler charm.
Care for the Finished Accessory
Remove detachable hardware before cleaning when practical, and follow the care instructions for the yarn, filling, and any internal support.
Let the pieces dry completely before returning the charm to a bag. Check the cord and component attachments occasionally, especially if the charm is used daily.
